How can they let you come back?
How can they work so long on a case
and deny you your right
to see justice's face?
By doing nothing about it
you're agreeing with it
So apparently "We will protect you"
is just a load of ______
How can I look you in the eye
when we both he's a lie
But yet he's still here
working with no obvious fear.
Even if we were lying
you need to do a little LESS sighing
and grunting "Great!.... We got another one"
and getting the job only halfway done
*because all these cases are the same
and all these girls have the same aim*
BUT
if we weren't lying
You just let a man free
to do WHATEVER he wants
WHENEVER he wants
While we get the taunts
and can't sleep at night
with tears that blur our sight.
Cause even though we did the
right thing
We've been left on a wing
and people half___ did their job
and now our innocence and joy has
been robbed
