* It has come to my attention that one thing people tend to motivation and help with is the feeling of abondonment and the feeling of isolation. This poem was written for one that has been either verbally or physically put down and degraded. I wrote this poem because I not only WANT people to feel like they are not alone I want them to KNOW that they are not alone. There's always going to be that one person who does the opposite of everyone else and reaches for your hand to help you up while others laugh. I'm that person. And if I hear someone laughing they can expect to get a mouth fulla knuckles 'cause I'm likely to give you what's comin' to you. So the next time someone degrades you and makes you feel like you aren't worth it remember that you are; and if anyone tells you otherwise, tell 'em I told you that you are and that I dare them to say otherwise. And if they don't believe it, send 'em to the mirror and ask them what they're doing to love what they see.

Why does it matter

that you don't like guys?

Why should it matter

that you don't like girls?

You're still the same person

even if you

wear pearls

long curls

What's the big deal?

You're not hurting anybody

The right to be your own person

applies to everybody

Those who

swear to their bibles

Have got to realize

we're not God.

and if they believe in Heaven and Hell

they've got to realize we've all sinned

enough to be sent to that feiry jail

You can't go through life

without mistake

So if hell's the case

we're all at stake

So don't avoid me like I've got

because the bible says love

everyone,

so now you've become hell's VIP

How does it feel?

Tell your friends to mind

their own buisness

and stop trying to fix

what doesn't need to be.

Focus on your own life

Focus on your own flaws

because no matter how high you are

But I feel as though this

stumbling occurrence was meant to be

Out of curiosity I probably searched

farther than I should've

And out of pure laziness,

I probably tried

less than I could've

But I'm glad

I took the time

to see who you were

To put a face with

what used to be just a word

To better my appreciation

to enhance my gratification

and to hasten my retalitation

And realize

that what looks like the end of the world

through my eyes

Is no comparison to the size

of what you have dealt with

and what you have gone through

Worry about if you still

have a spouse to come home to

Because with the type of job you have

you can't just come home

when you want to.
